Membership

Come as our guest and try a class - for free. If you like it and want to join, we will ask you to make a two-month commitment and to pay two months of dues up front. If you join on the day of your trial class, you will get your $100 registration packet, which includes a uniform, Seido patches, and a one-year membership in the World Seido Karate Organization, for FREE!  To sign up for your trial class, please call us at 773-472-7663.

Tuition

We offer two monthly dues plans depending on how many classes you want to take. We also offer two methods of payment: auto-pay and non-auto-pay (details below). If you authorize us to draw your monthly dues automatically from a bank account or credit card, it's both more convenient, and discounted.

Financial Assistance

Thousand Waves maintains a small scholarship fund for families and individuals who need financial assistance in order to study. We also have a work/study program. Please give us a call for detailed information.

Auto Pay Details

Most members participate in our Discounted Auto Pay program. Once members have signed up for the Auto Pay option, their dues (for the class plan of their choice) are automatically deducted from a bank account or from a Visa or Mastercard credit or debit card. When you sign up for the Auto Pay program, you may choose to have the funds drawn on the 1st of each month or on the 15th of each month.

The Auto Pay system is not a yearly contract. If, for whatever reason, you need to take an extended break from training or choose to stop training altogether, you simply notify us at least five business days before your regular withdrawal date and we will remove your name from our list.

Upgrading

Members who choose less than the Unlimited class plan are welcome to upgrade to the next plan if they have used up all their classes and their month is not up yet. Auto Pay plan participants should note that if they upgrade, they will be charged the non Auto Pay plan rates, which are higher, for the upgrade.
